Generac is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to track inventory and stock changes within a distribution setting. You will ensure accurate part quantities and proper locations in the inventory system, and support inspections, record-keeping, and discrepancy adjustments.
Based in a warehouse environment, you will collaborate with management to recommend improvements and ensure smooth daily operations, including use of SAP for counts and adjustments, and maintenance of accurate records.
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes within a distribution setting. The primary duties of this role include ensuring part quantity is accurate as well as making sure that raw goods are in the right location per the inventory system. In addition, this role may assist with inspecting shipments, maintaining records, and adjusting discrepancies. This position works inside the warehouse to track items, parts, and products and will work with management to make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
