Job Overview:

Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist checks inventory figures, postings, and documents to ensure accuracy.

Shift and Schedule:
  • Full-time
  • Wednesday-Sunday
  • 4:30AM - finished
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Position Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical inventories of full goods, input data into spreadsheets and SAP, using RF scanners and hand counts.
  • Perform age inventory to ensure proper rotation of products in the warehouse.
  • Administer cycle count procedures, research discrepancies, and reconcile inventory issues.
  • Create STOs for transfers between locations.
  • Handle period-end inventory accounting duties and resolve related issues.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX procedures related to inventory.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed.
  • Report daily to Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
  • Inspect warehouse for signage and assign slotting.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops team to optimize slotting.
  • Monthly date code reporting.
  • Manage damaged and returned products.
  • Maintain POS areas, keeping them clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Experience in supply planning or inventory control
  • Experience using RF technology
  • Experience with SAP or similar Warehouse Management System
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
