Job description

About the Role:
  • Shift: 4am-12:30pm Mon-Fri, some overtime required

  • Supports the execution of all processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy for the Logistics Center.

  • Performs warehouse bin accuracy and maintains inventory shrink.

  • Utilizes Warehouse Management System and various types of material handling equipment.

What You'll Do:
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.

  • Investigates bin location variances and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.

  • Researches problem orders and receipts for the Logistics Center.

  • Inputs data into warehouse management system, databases, and reporting tools.

  • Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy, including cycle counts, pick exceptions, bad box, lost bin, found bin, pick paths, and bin maintenance.

  • Collects, maintains, and provides detailed statistics and reports on various performance measurements.

  • Performs to quality standards in multiple functions.

  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in clerical and data entry tasks.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Intermediate computer application proficiency.

  • Lifts up to 50 lbs, performs basic math.

  • Adapts to change, analyzes and resolves complex problems.

  • Applies advanced math and attention to detail.

  • Strategic and tactical thinking.

  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

  • Analyzes and recommends actions based on diverse research data.

  • Builds effective relationships and coaches peers.

  • Performs under high workload and deadlines.

  • Utilizes material handling equipment effectively.

  • Clearly conveys ideas and identifies risks.

  • Minimum of two years experience working with transaction-intensive warehouse management/inventory systems in a high-volume facility.

Working Conditions:
  • Distribution center environment with exposure to varying heights, extreme temperatures, moderate and consistent noise levels, hot/dry or wet/humid conditions, and outside weather conditions.

  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as needed.

  • Knowledge of safety practices related to welding processes.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
