INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts of products, resin, concentrate, and components, monitoring inventory levels, investigating inventory losses - doing RCA's, coordinating the planning and implementation of service orders.


• Maintain Railcars and inventory of Silos.


• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count to verify on-hand inventory.


• Create and distribute inventory cycle reports to management and other relevant departments.


• Maintain accurate records of product inventory associated with specific orders.


• Drive improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory shrinkage and maximize inventory turns.


• Audit raw and finished goods for accuracy.


• Assist in leading year-end company-wide physical inventory.


• Assist in confirming in Production orders when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 year degree preferred.


• At least 1 year of inventory and/or shipping and receiving experience. Possess advanced working knowledge in MS Office applications, particularly in excel, word, and outlook.


• ERP experience is required SAP preferred.


• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal hours including evening and weekends.


• Must have great attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires regular standing and sitting for extended periods. Regular typing/keyboarding, writing, and filing. The position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors. Must also be able to work in a high-stress environment. May be required to lift up to 55 pounds.
