Job description

Inventory Control Specialist

Pay: $17.50/hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

Position Overview: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, preventing and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inventory counts, record results, and communicate findings to management or customers.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including customer claims and cycle counts for missing products.
• Adjust inventory quantities and print labels.
• Handle damaged inventory and dispose of it properly.
• Update inventory and discrepancies in the Warehouse Management System, including processing adjustments.
• Assist with special projects and customer-specific requests.
• Report operational errors affecting inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Forklift/reach truck experience and license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to sit for extended periods, with physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
