Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Inventory Control Specialist role in Burlington. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track material usage and ensure timely restocking.

  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper storage and adherence to inventory tracking protocols.

  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors promptly.

  • Maintain organized storage areas, adhering to safety and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs).

  • Document inventory transactions and processes accurately using inventory management systems.

  • Assist in preparing materials for production, ensuring availability and quality standards are met.

  • Participate in routine cleaning and organization of inventory storage areas to maintain hygiene standards.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, inventory concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in inventory control, warehouse, or food manufacturing is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and food safety regulations is a plus, but training will be provided.
