Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Inventory Control Specialist role in Burlington. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track material usage and ensure timely restocking.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper storage and adherence to inventory tracking protocols.
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors promptly.
Maintain organized storage areas, adhering to safety and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs).
Document inventory transactions and processes accurately using inventory management systems.
Assist in preparing materials for production, ensuring availability and quality standards are met.
Participate in routine cleaning and organization of inventory storage areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Report any equipment malfunctions, inventory concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in inventory control, warehouse, or food manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and food safety regulations is a plus, but training will be provided.
