The company is seeking candidates for anInventory Control Specialistat its Main Office in Burlington, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Ideal candidates will possess an extremely high level of attention to detail, initiative, discretion and independent judgment with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Greet customers and assist them to fulfill orders by loading & unloading products.
• Ensure compliance with all inventory control measures.
• Audit inventory through physical inspection and verify accuracy through monthly counts.
• Monitor merchandise for correct location assignments.
• Analyze inventory variance reports.
• Recognize, prevent and investigate potential security risks and reasons for shrink or theft.
• Make local deliveries, visit various worksites, other businesses or customer locations.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking, investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Lift, carry, push, pull and load up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Possess a safe driving record history.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Knowledge utilizing inventory management or purchasing systems, or other query-based analytic or forecasting software.
• Familiarity with crop protection and nutrient products.
SCHEDULE
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Qualified applicants must be available to work extended hours,
evenings and weekends as needed, especially during times of high seasonal demand.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$20.00- $25.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
