Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or related roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of inventory flow, cycle-counting principles, physical inventory processes, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and execution of annual or periodic physical inventories.
  • Reconcile inventory records and support accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory management standards.
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials to support operational requirements.
  • Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities; investigate discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, ensuring accurate documentation of receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material movements.
  • Provide guidance and training on inventory control procedures, material management processes, and safety requirements.
  • Track and report key inventory control KPIs, including inventory accuracy and cycle count completion rates.
  • Support initiatives to achieve inventory performance targets.
