Job summary

Safeway in Bellevue, WA is seeking a warehouse/receiving associate to manage deliveries, verify costs, and ensure inventory integrity. You will handle invoice reconciliation, vendor communications, and maintain secure, organized backroom and loading areas. Periodic training and equipment operation are required.

The role requires safety awareness, ability to lift and move items, and flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Champion customer service programs and promote personalized service.
• Receive deliveries and log into the computer; break down loads.
• Verify orders against invoices and check costs in electronic system.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and input differences; maintain records.
• Review emails daily and retrieve vendor invoices.
• Ensure security, sanitation and organization of receiving and storage areas.
• Operate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, power lifts, etc.).
• Perform training duties and assist with dairy/frozen items when needed.
