Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and store portals.
• Ability to monitor damaged/expired/salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Maintain cleanliness, security and order in backroom/receiving areas.
• Independent decision-making and issue resolution related to inventory and deliveries.
• Effective communication with vendors, drivers, and store management.
• Physical ability to lift 5–50 lbs., push/pull 10–50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods.
• Commitment to accurate inventory and customer-ready store.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure accurate receiving and stocking.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock/overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Regularly communicate with Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotions.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery/non-perishable inventories; maintain backroom security and cleanliness.
