Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to direct and coordinate inventory control activities, stocking requirements, and purchasing needs for parts and supplies. You will partner with body shop and service departments to ensure timely availability and optimize turnover.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
• General accounting knowledge and inventory management skills.
• Must possess a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Set and obtain parts purchasing decisions in concert with company objectives.
• Forecast parts purchases and work toward attainment.
• Coordinate with body shop and service managers for timely parts availability.
• Develop and monitor guidelines for customer interactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Establish inventory controls and balance turnover.
• Establish policies to maximize inventory security and minimize loss.
• Centralize purchasing, stocking and utilization objectives.
• Analyze market conditions for parts availability and report findings.
