Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Henderson, NV to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The role emphasizes cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and strict adherence to SOPs across shipping, receiving, and storage areas.

You will analyze POS data, generate reports, and collaborate with store management to prevent shrink while delivering strong customer service in a busy retail setting. The position is full-time and part-time with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail setting or equivalent.
• Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Note discrepancies in tagging or SKUing and escalate to department managers.
• Audit the Inventory Control SOP and related processes.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks and compliance with SOPs.
• Audit Return of Sale (ROS) and related processes for accuracy.
• Audit voids/partial voids and RTV processing per SOP.
• Audit RTVs to ensure proper processing.
• Ensure facility security by reporting issues to management.
• Review customer merchandise storage area weekly and resolve issues with the CEM and Operations Manager.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventories.
• Apply 'Sample' tape to written-off wood boxes; notify if missing.
• Run monthly reports (OSDR) across multiple SKU categories to verify movements and correct discrepancies.
