Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to maintain accurate stock levels and monitor inventory using our management system. You will greet customers and assist with product placement while upholding our service standards.

Responsibilities include daily stock counts, ordering and receiving processes, and timely follow-up on shortages. Strong math, organization, and computer skills are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior retail/inventory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and data entry; ability to learn the Inventory Management System.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches any shortages and corrects unacceptable shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working environment and follows company policies.
