Job summary

Condux International in Minnesota is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records, manage transactions in the ERP system, and support material flow across Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Receiving, Shipping and Finance.

The role emphasizes cycle counting, stock accuracy, data quality and timely reporting to enable on-time production and customer shipments. Candidates should have experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain purchase orders and confirmations in the ERP system.
• Upload vendor acknowledgments and documents to PO records ensuring traceability.
• Monitor vendor acknowledgments and updated ship/delivery dates.
• Update due dates, lead times, and delivery schedules; communicate changes to planning and production.
• Contact vendors regarding past-due POs and request revised ETAs.
• Maintain professional vendor communication to support continuity of supply.
• Maintain vendor pricing and lead-time changes documentation.
• Review and maintain accurate part lead times for planning.
• Flag cost variances on critical parts and summarize for managers.
• Maintain organized electronic records (pricing, lead times, PO docs).
• Prepare and distribute purchasing status and lead-time reports.
• Support data quality: vendor/item master fields and PO clean-up.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable on three-way match exceptions.
• Assist with periodic audits and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and communicate planned/unplanned absences.
