US Foods is seeking a Manager, Inventory Control to lead inventory management and coach a high-performing team. The role partners with Finance and Supply Chain to drive results and safeguard assets, modeling the company’s Beliefs and leadership behaviors.

The incumbent will focus on labor planning, process improvement, and cross-functional problem solving to reduce losses and ensure accurate counts with timely reporting.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in inventory control or warehousing.
• Strong understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Labor planning and scheduling of inventory control staff, adapting to labor availability and priorities.
• Coach and develop a high performing inventory team with clear expectations and metrics.
• Apply root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate across functions to resolve inventory losses and implement preventive measures.
• Manage vendor packaging reclamation with buyers for billback or repackaging.
• Oversee non-saleable (suspense) inventory and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Review and approve customer credit requests and drive process improvements.
• Ensure SOX controls with inventory reports, aging, and cycle count completion.
• Foster safety, service, and cost mindset to maintain injury-free associates.
