Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking an inventory coordinator to accurately provide stock information, monitor and maintain company product at multiple branch locations, and support production requirements on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities include material receiving, movement coordination, data entry in the inventory system, quality checks, and adherence to health, safety and Lean initiatives. Three shifts on a rotating schedule provide daytime, afternoon, and overnight coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations or from the mill.
• Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production.
• Operate material handling equipment as necessary to support movement of material.
• Perform accurate data entry in inventory management system.
• Prepare and maintain inventory identification tags.
• Identify shortages and issues and communicate to staff.
• Maintain accuracy in all work and assist QA on credits.
