Job summary

Sysco Arizona East is seeking a Finance–Inventory Controller to oversee daily inventory control operations, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and corrections to inventory records. The role ensures accuracy, reduces shrink, and supports finance and operations through reporting and audits.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in inventory control leadership, a Bachelor’s degree preference, HACCP certification, and equipment-operator licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of inventory control management and supervisory experience required.
• HACCP Certification required.
• Must be trained and licensed in the operation of powered industrial equipment as appropriate.
• Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control, driver check-in, and quality assurance to maintain accurate perpetual inventory and protect assets.
• Develop and implement procedures to maximize inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
• Manage driver check-in processes, deposits, and adjustments.
• Review daily inventory reports and communicate variances to Finance, Operations, and Merchandise teams.
• Facilitate shrink meetings and identify root causes of shrink.
• Participate in hiring and training inventory staff.
• Oversee Product Recall processes.
• Ensure HACCP compliance.
