Job summary

TransPak, Inc. in Manor, Texas is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory control and use Sage X3 ERP to track materials across multiple warehouses.

This role reports into a supervisor and leads daily warehouse operations, cycle counts, and receiving/issuing of goods to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in warehouse and logistics within manufacturing, plus a BS in a related field and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse & logistics experience within a manufacturing environment.
• BS in Inventory Management / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering.
• ERP experience as it relates to Inventory Management.
• Excellent communication (verbal / written) and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of CIP and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Strong understanding of inventory management (Inbound, Outbound and Cycle Count procedures).
• Strong understanding of freight – shipping management (Import and Export compliance).
• Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Access.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the Inventory Management system.
• Cycle Count execution (daily / monthly / quarterly / yearly).
• Receiving of Goods; Issuing of goods to manufacturing.
• Ancillary duties supporting QA, finance and supply chain.
• Integration and management of multiple TransPak warehouses.
• Development and incorporation of continuous improvement strategies for warehouse and receiving.
