Job summary

Automated Door Ways in Columbus, GA is seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Manager to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse associates. You will maintain accurate inventory across a large catalog of door operators, sensors, and hardware to ensure field technicians have what they need.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, receiving, storage, and coordination with purchasing to prevent stockouts, while maintaining ERP records and OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading or supervising a warehouse/inventory team.
• Experience conducting cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy in a high-volume warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand door hardware, parts and components.
• Familiarity with inventory/warehouse management software and ERP systems.
• Forklift experience/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering accountability and a strong safety-first culture.
• Plan and execute regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy across a large catalog of parts.
• Maintain organized receiving, storage, and pick/pack processes to support technician efficiency.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing/vendors to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and shipping/receiving errors.
• Maintain accurate records within inventory management/ERP systems.
