Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• ERP experience required; SAP preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Inventory Control personnel, directly supervising a team of two or more employees.
• Determine staffing priorities, work assignments, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, disciplinary actions, promotions, and termination decisions.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Coordinate cross-training for adequate coverage and continuity.
• Approve employee time and attendance records.
• Provide leadership for critical inventory, shipping, and order-processing activities.
• Foster accountability, accuracy, teamwork, safety, and continual improvement.
• Lead all inventory control activities for Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods.
• Manage cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve errors.
• Review/approve inventory adjustments per policy and audit requirements.
• Monitor accuracy metrics and drive improvements.
• Oversee customer returns and inventory reprocessing.
• Guide complex inventory and transaction issues.
