Job summary

Prysmian in Battleboro, NC seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee and optimize inventory control across the organization. You will ensure accurate stock levels, efficient storage, and smooth day-to-day operations with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, CPIM/CSCP preferred, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP. You will partner with Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, and Finance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics.
• CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory management and operations.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with SAP.
• Experience with Lean, 6S, Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and reduce overstock.
• Oversee receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials.
• Develop and maintain inventory procedures to improve accuracy and cost control.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits; reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory metrics and report trends like turnover and shrinkage.
• Maintain inventory records using SAP and other systems.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Quality.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams on storage and material handling.
• Support safety and best practices; train team on SAP usage.
• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement.
