Job summary

Abacus Solutions Group is hiring an Inventory Control Manager for the Northeast, MD area. The role leads all inventory accuracy, compliance reconciliation, audit, and governance activities within the distribution center.

You will serve as the site authority for inventory integrity and partner with Operations, Finance, Systems, Quality, and 3PLs to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Strong leadership and expertise in WMS/ERP are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in inventory management or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting automation and robotics environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy, integrity, and compliance for the distribution center.
• Lead and develop the Inventory Control team and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory governance programs including cycle counting, physical inventories, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies and internal controls.
• Identify inventory risks, investigate discrepancies, and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory health, accuracy, financial exposure, and KPI reporting to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Systems, Engineering, Quality, and 3PL partners to support integrity and performance.
• Support network initiatives, process improvements, system implementations, and changes impacting inventory management.
• Serve as site SME and escalation point for inventory issues.
