Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Lead for our distribution center. You will coach and train inventory control associates, coordinate workflow, and ensure accurate counts and reporting across cycles and adjustments.

The role requires extensive DC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with vendors to address quality issues. Expect hands-on supervision of daily inventory tasks within a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control.
• Prior distribution center experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains inventory control associates on inventory and count procedures.
• Coordinates and prioritizes inventory control work for efficiency and timeliness.
• Records and reports all inventory adjustments, pallet audits, and discrepancies weekly.
• Reviews cycle counts and tracks discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Checks product quality and communicates issues to vendors.
• Determines placement for inventory based on size and selling volume.
• Assists with loading damaged merchandise using material handling equipment.
• Acts as back-up for inventory and general warehouse functions.
