Job summary

HD Supply in Hyde Park, MA is hiring for an inventory control role within a distribution center. The position focuses on coaching staff, coordinating inventory tasks, and maintaining accuracy across counts and adjustments.

Experience with distribution centers and operating material handling equipment such as reach, order pickers, sit-down EPJ is preferred. Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move product throughout the day.
• Willingness to train to operate order/cherry picker, reach, electric pallet jacks, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains inventory control associates on inventory and count procedures.
• Coordinates and prioritizes inventory control work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Records and reports all inventory adjustments, pallet audits, and discrepancies weekly.
• Reviews cycle counts and tracks discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Checks for product quality and communicates quality issues to vendors.
• Determines placement for inventory based on size and selling volume.
