Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a warehouse lead who will work across multiple distribution center departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, and replenishment. The role involves guiding and training warehouse associates, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring accurate data entry in the inventory system.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a multi-department DC environment with experience using material handling equipment, and a track record of leadership or mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience working across multiple distribution center departments.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience in a lead or mentorship role.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on warehousing duties and equipment.
• Prioritizes and coordinates warehousing work for efficiency.
• Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, stock and stage inventory.
• Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and escalates issues when needed.
• Records product and shipment data in the inventory system.
• Maintains clean work areas and adheres to safety policies.
• Completes required paperwork during shifts.
• Serves as back-up for all warehousing functions.
