Job summary

HD Supply in Hyde Park, MA, is seeking an inventory control-focused associate for a full-time role in a distribution center. You will coach staff, coordinate counts, and manage inventory adjustments to maintain accuracy and timely operations.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for periods, and operating material handling equipment with on-the-job training provided. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Able to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, walk, move, push, and pull product throughout the day
• Willingness to train to operate order/cherry picker, reach, electric pallet jacks, or similar equipment

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains inventory control associates on inventory and count procedures.
• Coordinates and prioritizes inventory control work to ensure tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Records and reports all inventory adjustments, pallet audits, and discrepancies on a weekly basis.
• Reviews cycle counts and tracks discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Checks for product quality and communicates quality issues to vendors.
• Determines the appropriate placement for inventory based on size, selling volume, and other applicable factors.
• Assists with loading damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
• Serves as back-up for all inventory and general warehouse functions.
