In this role, you will help ensure accurate inventory levels, efficient stock organization, and smooth day-to-day inventory operations. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with hands-on leadership, enjoys improving processes, and can collaborate effectively across multiple departments to support operational excellence.**Responsibilities:*** Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stockouts.* Oversee the receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials.* Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.* Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies as needed.* Track, analyze, and report on inventory metrics, including turnover, shrinkage, stock levels, and inventory accuracy.* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement data using inventory management systems, including SAP.* Partner with Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Quality to support demand planning, SKU optimization, customer claim investigations, and business objectives.* Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage, organization, and material handling practices.* Support compliance with safety standards, inventory procedures, and best practices.* Train and support team members on inventory processes, procedures, and SAP usage.* Analyze trends, audit findings, and process gaps to recommend continuous improvement opportunities.* Manage the returns process, ensuring materials are handled properly and documentation is completed accurately.**Knowledge and skill requirements**:* Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred.* Certification in inventory management or supply chain management, such as CPIM or CSCP, preferred.* Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools for reporting and data analysis.* Experience using inventory management systems, ERP, or WMS platforms; SAP experience strongly preferred.* Transferable experience with systems such as Oracle, AS400, or HighJump considered an asset.* Strong understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, cycle counts, and warehouse operations.* Experience with Lean, 6S, Six Sigma, or project management methodologies preferred.* Ability to support warehouse layout optimization to improve storage efficiency, accessibility, and material flow.**-----------------------------------------****Job Offer Fraud Alert**We take the security of our candidates seriously.
