Job summary

First Solar is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor in a manufacturing environment to lead a team of specialists across the supply chain, from vendor docks to delivery points. You will drive training, performance management, and cycle counts while ensuring inventory integrity and compliance with SOX/ISO standards, reporting to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control concepts (FIFO, FEFO, Kanban, cycle counting).
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of computer applications (MS Office, WMS/ERP).
• Experience implementing training programs and measuring outcomes.
• Commitment to safety culture in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Inventory Control staff; train associates and manage attendance/performance.
• Lead planned cycle counts and reporting.
• Resolve inventory integrity issues to ensure reliable signals across manufacturing and supply chain.
• Ensure safe use of material handling equipment.
• Document recurring issues and develop improvement plans.
• Serve as primary contact for internal/external inventory audits.
• Oversee end-to-end warehouse processes and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate KPIs and drive corrective actions for inventory management.
• Support safety culture in warehouse operations.
• Other duties as assigned and adapt to changes.
