Job summary

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee all inventory operations across fuel equipment, fuel and lube products, and construction project inventory. You will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across warehouses and locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory management, warehouse management, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with large and diverse inventories across multiple product categories.
• Experience with BOMs and manufacturing inventory processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory control procedures, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Forklift and warehouse operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control across all divisions and warehouse locations.
• Oversee daily inventory control activities including Receiving, Transfers, Staging, Returns, Adjustments, Inventory transactions, Warranties.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure transactions are documented in the ERP system.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Minimize dead inventory and monitor aging and contamination risks in liquid inventory.
• Develop and manage a cycle count program for all inventory categories.
• Lead warehouse teams in routine cycle counts and physical inventories."
• Reconcile month-end inventory variances and provide reporting to leadership.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
• Support implementation of inventory controls to minimize losses.
• Establish and improve inventory control procedures, workflows, and warehouse standards.
• Create standardized inventory processes across departments and locations.
• Analyze inventory trends and recommend operational improvements to reduce shrinkage and excess inventory.
• Ensure inventory practices support operational efficiency and customer service needs.
• Develop standardized procedures for handling, counting, measuring, and tracking liquid inventory.
• Lead and train warehouse and inventory personnel on procedures and scanning processes.
• Promote accountability and accuracy throughout warehouse operations.
