Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure accuracy across multiple facilities handling perishable and non-perishable inventory. You will drive cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and partner with Production, Supply, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow.

This role leads inventory coordinators and requires strong data analysis to support audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• 3–6+ years of inventory control experience (fresh produce preferred).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• ERP/WMS experience (Famous preferred).
• Cross-functional leadership and accountability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy for all products across bulk commodities, WIP, and finished goods.
• Oversee daily cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
• Validate production consumption and yield reporting.
• Lead bi-annual wall-to-wall inventory counts and audits.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, and Supply teams to resolve discrepancies.
