Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking an inventory control professional in the Charlotte, NC area to monitor freight and inventory processes and reduce losses. You will oversee receiving, adjustments, and mainframe entries while ensuring accurate cycle counts across frozen, cooler, and dry products.

Responsibilities include managing warehouse slotting, reporting issues to upper management, and conducting research on inventory losses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of inventory control experience in food distribution.
• Prefer 4-year college degree in related discipline and 1 year experience on IBM AS400.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect produce at the dock to ensure quality standards and correct quantity.
• Oversee receiving and inventory adjustments and entry into the mainframe.
• Report daily physical cycle counts for frozen, cooler, and dry products.
• Oversee slotting and labeling of new items and ensure mainframe accuracy.
