Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Inventory Control professional for US3081 Sygma Carolina (The Sygma Network, Inc). You will monitor dock inspections, oversee receiving, and manage cycle counts to minimize losses.

This role requires strong inventory control expertise in a food-distribution environment and experience with IBM AS400. On-site position with alignment to SYGMA guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of inventory control experience in food distribution.
• Prefer 4-year college degree in a related discipline and 1-year experience on IBM AS400.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect produce at the dock to ensure quality standards and correct quantities.
• Oversee receiving and inventory adjustments and mainframe entry.
• Report daily cycle counts for frozen, cooler, and dry products.
• Coordinate item slotting and ensure accurate warehouse data in the mainframe.
• Generate and review inventory and warehouse reports daily.
• Manage physical inventories per SYGMA guidelines.
