Job summary

The State of New Hampshire, at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee warehouse and inventory operations, including receipt, storage, processing and shipping of inventory and equipment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma plus two years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of education and experience after high school in stock control or warehousing.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent reaching/bending.
• Trainee option: None.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receipt, storage and delivery of goods.
• Process receiving reports for accounting and maintain cost records.
• Prepare inventory reports and suggest delivery schedules.
• Maintain stock and cost records to meet warehouse needs.
• Guide staff in policies and procedures for procurement.
• Monitor usage and conduct periodic inventory counts.
