Job summary

The State of New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for a full-time, first-shift role (7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday). The position oversees warehouse and inventory operations, including receipt, storage, processing, and shipping of inventory and equipment used at NH Veterans Home.

Minimum qualifications require an equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after high school in stock control or warehousing, plus a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Education and experience must be in stock control, warehousing, merchandise management, or related field.
• License/Certification: Valid driver's license.
• Requires medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and dexterity for operating machines.

Responsibilities

• Provides partial supervision over the Stock Clerk III position by guiding daily receipt, storage and delivery of goods and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Prepares inventory reports and suggests delivery and replenishment schedules to assist the Warehouse Manager II in developing plans to improve warehouse conditions and timely delivery.
• Keeps inventory control records to maintain stock levels and estimates stock needs; follows procurement policies and provides guidance on procedures.
• Order materials/stock from approved state contracts and vendors; upload purchasing documentation to the credit card system.
