Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to oversee daily inventory operations and provide guidance to inventory associates in the warehouse. You will maintain accurate records, ensure product quality, minimize spoilage, and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include leading the inventory team, conducting counts, reconciling records, investigating discrepancies, inspecting items, and processing returns. Strong Excel skills and 1–3 years in inventory roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of inventory control or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide inventory team within assigned areas.
• Maintain records of the quantity, type, and value of inventory, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile records to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust records accordingly.
• Verify returned goods and damaged products and process items back into inventory as appropriate.
• Perform quality inspections on produce and other designated items and remove spoilage.
