Job summary

Rhenus Logistics seeks an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead and optimize inventory processes within our warehouse operations. You will drive accuracy, analyze data, and implement improvements to storage, flow and KPIs across the facility.

You will partner with Operations leadership and customers to address discrepancies, optimize space, and develop sustainable corrective actions, while coaching a small team to higher performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising an inventory team or warehouse staff.
• In-depth understanding of inventory management beyond cycle counting.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into improvements.
• Experience with slotting, space optimization and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day inventory control activities including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
• Analyze inventory data and warehouse activity to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement inventory optimization and slotting strategies.
• Lead a team of 4–6 employees and coach/drive accountability.
• Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for stakeholders.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams on layout and process improvements.
• Support annual physical inventories and customer requirements.
