Job summary

Bacardi is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure inventory accuracy and optimize slotting, FIFO, and capacity utilization in a warehousing environment. The role focuses on cycle counts, physical inventories, and maintaining SOX-compliant inventory documentation.

The candidate should have extensive warehousing experience, a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, and strong data-reporting skills, with proficiency in SAP and WMS systems. 5 years in warehousing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, inventory control and SOX compliance.
• Ability to analyze data, create reports, and maintain SOX documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and WMS systems.
• 5 years’ experience in warehousing and distribution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.
• Publish monthly data indicating monthly and year-to-date totals of cycle count variances.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Leadership to align warehousing processes with inventory objectives.
• Analyze receipts and inventory issues and take corrective action.
• Own Physical Inventory and oversee related coordinators (Quality Coordinator and 3PL Logistics Coordinator).
• Evaluate product velocity and turns to update slotting and replenishment strategies.
• Perform root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure FIFO is followed and timely processing of returns and addressing misplaced inventory.
