MODULE X SOLUTIONS is a rapidly growing modular manufacturing company based in Shreveport, LA, seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. You will ensure data integrity across all warehouse locations, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and drive corrective actions to improve inventory processes and prevent variances.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Degree or coursework in supply chain/logistics preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement kitting carts for assembly.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories across locations.
• Analyze variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Trace inventory issues through processes to identify breakdowns and improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in ERP and warehouse tools.
• Support warehouse optimization and material flow improvements.
• Evaluate dunnage usage and optimize packaging for protection and efficiency.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and assist disposition strategies.
• Oversee receiving and put-away to prevent discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and production on controls and improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties on the production/warehouse floor (about 80% in warehouse).
