Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant Manager in Hagerstown, MD to lead the IC team and own cycle counts, replenishment, and efficiency initiatives. You will partner with procurement and facilities to ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and shipping, while driving development of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, analyzing metrics, and maintaining adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day Inventory Control operations, including customer re-shipment requests and removing roadblocks for shipping.
• Train, coach, develop and hold accountable up to several employees to meet operational metrics.
• Prepare facility for new inventory, collaborate with facilities to adjust storage and reduce dead stock.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cycle counts, audits, and policy compliance.
