Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant Manager to support the Inventory Control Manager in overseeing the distribution center's inventory control operations. You will drive accuracy, coach up to 25 staff, and collaborate with procurement to optimize receiving, stocking and shipping processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and adherence to SOPs with a schedule including nights. A strong emphasis on operational metrics and accountability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience working in a distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day inventory control operations and maximize accuracy and efficiency.
• Train, coach and manage up to 25 employees to meet performance metrics.
• Lead and participate in weekly/monthly meetings to review metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to improve receiving, stocking and shipping processes.
