Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist in Morgantown, WV. You will maintain accurate inventory counts, perform cycle counts on RF units, verify receipts, and address discrepancies with purchasing, accounts payable, and customer service.

The role involves researching inventory issues, ensuring accurate locations, and handling returns and shipments in a fast-paced healthcare distribution environment. Strong attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to verify receipts and manage recalls/expired products.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate inventory locations and runs cycle counts on RF units.
• Verifies receiving receipts from accounts payable and researches discrepancies.
• Researches and resolves inventory and accounts payable discrepancies.
• Counts and verifies freight for accuracy and condition.
• Receives returns and puts away inventory; assists with vendor/manufacturer returns.

Responsible for maintaining an accurate warehouse inventory count, researching receiving & shipping discrepancies, checking product recall and expired products, receiving customer returns and putting away of returns, proof of deliveries, manufacturer returns, unit of measure research, working directly with purchasing, accounts payable, customer service, accounts receivable, sales force and warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Checks location of products in OMNI system
• Verifies receiving receipts from accounts payable.
• Performs cycle counts on RF units.
• Researches inventory discrepancies & resolves.
• Researches customer service errors (pick errors, over ships, etc.)
• Performs customer service counts (customer shipments).
• Researches and corrects accounts payable discrepancies.
• Maintains accurate inventory locations and moves inventory locations as required. Conducts product rotation according to Company policies and procedures.
• Counts or verifies freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
• Performs work on pick and put away discrepancies report.
• Researches unit of measure errors.
• Checks, receives, breaks down, and separates incoming customer returns and returns to inventory.
• Assembles, packs and ships manufacturer and/or vendor returns; initiates required debit memo.
