Job summary

Ride Designs is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Mt. Juliet, TN to perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

You will support physical inventories, monitor inventory accuracy, and assist with Kanban and lean initiatives while ensuring safety and efficient material flow. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience, and familiarity with computerized inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year warehouse/forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend English in instruction documents.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Familiar with KANBAN system and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiar with computerized inventory systems.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work accurately.
• Ability to apply common sense and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and reconcile daily cycle counts for warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Research discrepancies, analyze information, and prepare inventory adjustments.
• Conduct daily rack audits in controlled locations; reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with physical inventory preparation and execution.
• Monitor and enforce safety and housekeeping guidelines in warehouse areas.
• Support Materials team and provide data for material planning.
• Report changes in usage and parts shortages to the material planner.
• Assist Receiving and warehouse lead to ensure processes are followed.
• Update inventory accuracy metrics files and participate in special projects.
