Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Columbus, GA to maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory, optimize space, and support efficient order fulfillment in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires monitoring inventory, cycle counts, labeling compliance, and reporting non-conforming stock while training staff on control procedures. A minimum of 2 years in inventory control and PMM/PLOG certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years' inventory control experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• PMM and PLOG certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory accuracy; investigate discrepancies.
• Resolve inventory problems promptly.
• Oversee cycle counts and audits.
• Maintain product identification and location system.
• Track non-conforming, aged, or damaged products.
• Ensure accurate labeling and compliance.
• Produce inventory accuracy metrics and reports.
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to improve accuracy.
• Train site staff in inventory control techniques.
• Support cross-training and general site operations.
