Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group seeks an Inventory Control professional to maintain high inventory accuracy within a large facility in Georgia. The role focuses on maximizing space, validating product movement, and ensuring compliant labeling and containment of non-conforming items.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, staff training, and cross-department coordination to support efficient order fulfillment and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control for a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• PMM and PLOG certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls inventory and inventory integrity; researches discrepancies and makes corrections as necessary.
• Ensures inventory problems are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Oversees physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Maintains product identification and location program.
• Tracks and reports non-conforming product; documents aged/damaged product.
• Ensures inventory is labeled accurately and meets compliance requirements.
• Maintains inventory accuracy metrics and reports for management.
• Coordinates across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
• Trains site staff in proper inventory control techniques.
• Participates in cross-training to support team members.
• Provides general support to ensure efficient site operations.
