Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control for a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• PMM and PLOG certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls inventory and inventory integrity; researches discrepancies and makes corrections as necessary.
• Ensures inventory problems are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Oversees physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Maintains product identification and location program.
• Tracks and reports non-conforming product; documents aged/damaged product.
• Ensures inventory is labeled accurately and meets compliance requirements.
• Maintains inventory accuracy metrics and reports for management.
• Coordinates across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
• Trains site staff in proper inventory control techniques.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility.This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by Distribution Center Management, monitor inventory levels and product movement, control/isolate non-conforming product as defined by local work instructions and in conformance with quality standards and expectations as well as ensure conforming product mix, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors and controls inventory and inventory integrity; researches inventory discrepancies and makes corrections as necessary.
• Ensures inventory problems are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Oversees physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Maintains product identification and location program.
• Tracks and reports non-conforming product; documents and controls aged and/or damaged product.
• Ensures inventory is labelled accurately and meets all compliance requirements.
• Maintains relevant inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management (and Divisional Operations as appropriate).
• Coordinates and Integrates efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
• Regularly trains site staff in proper inventory control techniques and practices.
• Participates in cross-training activities to provide support to other team members as necessary.
• Provides general support in support of efficient operations of the site.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control for a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Professional Materials Management (PMM) and Profession of Logistics (PLOG) are preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
