Job summary

Vistar, America's leading candy, snack, and beverage distributor, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across operating company inventories. The role requires counting stock, reconciling records, and preparing reports to support efficient distribution.

You will verify counts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain shrink at or below the company standard while working in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Drug test and background check post-offer required.

Responsibilities

• Counts materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computations from records.
• Verifies computations against physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews daily reports and maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
