Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wisconsin is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator to verify and reconcile inventories for customers and suppliers, and to perform physical inventories.

The role requires at least 1 year in warehousing, experience with cycle counts, and proficiency with SAP or other WMS; you will spend much of the shift on the warehouse floor and collaborate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and adjustments.
• Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• Experience with a commercial WMS such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
• This role is hands-on on the warehouse floor with standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor SAP in-transit buckets for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

-Position: Inventory Control Coordinator

-Shift: Friday to Sunday - 5am to 5pm

-Pay: $21.90 per hour. + $1.75 shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills: Supply Chain, Auditing, Shipping, Logistics.

A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• -Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.
• -Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• -Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• -Microsoft Office software, including Excel is required.
• -This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
• Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
