Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Weekend (1st) Shift Inventory Control Coordinator. The role runs 5:00am–5:00pm, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, with pay at 21.50 USD per hour plus weekend shift difference.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control including cycle count and reporting discrepancies.
• At least 6 months with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar systems such as SAP, JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile inventories for customer and DHL; complete physical inventories and reports.
• Interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues.
• Reconcile data into customer systems and WM/SAP for reporting.
• Analyze data for root cause and maintain cycle count data for management reports.
• Monitor transactions and resolve discrepancies; coordinate inventory issues with stakeholders.

-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.

-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.

-At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose:

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
• Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
