Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is hiring for an Inventory Control Coordinator on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:10pm-11:10pm). The role focuses on cycle counting, reconciliation of inventories, and collaboration across departments on inventory issues.

Candidates should have 1–3 years warehousing experience, familiarity with WMS systems such as SAP, Excel, and strong data entry skills. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years warehousing experience, preferred with barcode systems.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and/or Topex.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Position:Inventory Control Coordinator
Shift: 2nd shift
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 3:10pm-11:10pm
Pay: $19.45 per hour+ $.50 Shift Differential

A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• -Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.
• -Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• -Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• -Microsoft Office software, including Excel is required.
• -This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.
