Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Carlisle, PA is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for the 2nd shift. You will verify inventories, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and DHL teams.

The role requires 1–3 years of warehouse inventory experience, familiarity with SAP/Topex, and data-entry accuracy, with benefits including medical coverage, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years warehousing experience, preferably with barcode systems.
• Experience with cycle counts and inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and Topex.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, suppliers and DHL.
• Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports.
• Interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues.
• Reconcile data entry into customer's system of record and WM System.
• Analyze data for root-cause analysis using Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor SAP in-transit data for finance reporting and management dashboards.
• Maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory data.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Days: Monday - Friday

Pay: $19.45 + $.50 shift premium

Required Qualification: At least 1 year of prior inventory experience in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Qualification:Prior quality control experience; 6 months forklift experience

Role Purpose:

Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer's management on inventory issues for resolution.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reconcile and data entry into customer's system of record and the WM System.
• Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
• Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
• Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
• Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
• Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
• Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
• Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory
